About Lee

Hi, I am Lee Silverstone of Lee Silverstone Photography and I am a landscape and nature photographer, focusing on the Jersey Shore, mostly in Monmouth County. Born and bred on Long Island, New York, I was always surrounded by the outdoors and nature. I moved to the Jersey Shore in 1999, where I was able to stay in touch with the outdoors, while nurturing and pursuing my passion for
photography.

After college, I was in the family import business, which afforded me the
opportunity to travel the world and visit many exotic locales, experience many
different cultures and see some of the beauty this planet has to offer.

Now, living 4 blocks from the ocean, this allows me to catch some incredible
sunrises. There is no better experience than standing on a deserted beach,
without another person in sight, watching the sun rise over the horizon. Hearing
nothing but the sounds of the ocean, these moments offer me peace, serenity
and tranquility. I never tire of being a landscape photographer, as every day offers another majestic masterpiece to capture. 

In addition to landscapes, I have photographed several music festivals, such as “Rock the Farm”, where I am their official event photographer, sponsored by CFC Loud N Clear Foundation, an organization which addresses prevention, intervention and recovery from addiction. In addition, I have also photographed many local musicians and bands, where my photos have been used in promotional pieces, social media and for the local press.
